New born child with a short tibia and varus deformity of the foot. This child had partial absence of tibia.
Three-year-old child with Type III tibial hemimelia (absent of proximal tibia). The fibula is relatively over-grown and the proximal part is displaced upwards. Note the varus position of the foot and ankle.
Six-year-old child with Type II tibial hemimelia. He underwent limb lengthening to correct the tibial shortening.
