Nine-month old child with locked interphalangeal joint of the right thumb. Usually a nodule is palpable at the base of the thumb.
After surgical release of the tendon sheath the excursion of the joint improves and the child can hyper-extend the thumb for normal functions.

Hospital, he pursued further training in the United Kingdom. He was on the “Yorkshire Orthopaedic Training Program” and obtained his orthopaedic fellowship, FRCS (Orth) and Surgical fellowship, FRCS (Glasgow) degrees. He has received the M.Ch Orth form Liverpool.
